Provence style in the interior of a house near Vyborg

Provence style home interior in a small country house near the border of Finland, the owners came up with and designed themselves.

The furniture in the house is mostly old, restored by the owner’s hands, practically did not buy anything. The only exceptions were glass tables and a large sofa.

Since the family owns a small furniture workshop, all the necessary furniture was made there, and some items were found on furniture ruins and flea markets. Beautiful wrought chests were found on the trash can and were restored in their own workshop.

The main parts that formedhouse interior in Provence style, invented by the owner's wife. For example, cast-iron “legs”, which served as the basis of the stand for a sewing machine, were bought at the scrap metal collection point.

A lot of little things the owners of the house brought from foreign voyages, where they always visit the local flea markets. For example, they brought antique silver and lace capes from a trip to the north of France.

A beautiful chandelier that fit perfectly into the design of the house went to the family quite by accident: an elderly woman was going to throw her in the trash, but agreed to give the chandelier to “good hands”, now she decorates house interior in Provence style.
